Your personalized silhouette anchors to the body you actually have. Your garments anchor to that silhouette using a proprietary geometry system, so when you put together an outfit, you're seeing how those pieces work together on someone shaped like you. Not someone you wish you were.

I'm building MyFit Closet from a living room in California, in between a full-time job in mortgage operations, two small kids (5 and 3), and the general beautiful chaos of trying to do too much at once. So when I say this app is built around real life, I mean my real life.
The idea showed up in two places at once.
One night I was watching my 3-year-old play a dress-up game on her tablet. She was effortlessly mixing and matching outfits on a digital character, swapping tops, bottoms, and accessories in seconds. Around the same time I was packing for a work trip to Nashville and standing in front of a closet full of clothes feeling completely stuck. I couldn't visualize a single outfit. I couldn't remember what worked together. So I did what most of us do. I opened my phone and started shopping. Not because I needed anything new, but because it was easier than figuring out what I already owned.
That gap is what MyFit Closet exists to close.
Why is it easier for a 5-year-old to style outfits digitally than it is for an adult woman to style her real wardrobe? Why doesn't my closet work the way my phone does - or like Cher Horowitz's from Clueless? I started building because I couldn't find the tool I wanted to use.
What MyFit Closet actually is.
A digital version of your real wardrobe. You upload your clothes, mix and match outfits on a personalized silhouette, plan ahead for trips and events, and rediscover pieces you forgot you owned. The technology behind it is called MirrorMode™, and it works on a principle I care a lot about: we only show you what we can show you truthfully. The silhouette anchors to your real proportions. No filters, no fantasy version of you, no faces on mannequins we can't render accurately. What you see is what you actually own, on a body that's actually shaped like yours.
Why this matters beyond getting dressed.
We live in a world where digitization is increasingly used to sell us a version of ourselves that doesn't exist. Filters, glamorized avatars, AI-generated bodies that get thinner and smoother and more impossible with every update. I wanted to use AI's potential for something more real: your actual body, and the actual clothes you put on it every day. Helping you feel proud of what you have, instead of ashamed by comparison to someone who was never real to begin with.
That matters more than just styling outfits, because the cost of the alternative is enormous. The US generates 17 million tons of textile waste every year. 11 million tons of it ends up in landfills (EPA, 2018). Most of us wear a small fraction of what we own. We're not buying more clothes because we love clothes. We're buying because we can't see what we already have, or because the version of ourselves we're being sold tells us what we have isn't enough.
MyFit Closet is built on the belief that the most sustainable garment is the one already in your closet. Every feature, from styling to planning to our GiveBack tab for resale, donation, and recycling, is designed to help you wear what you own, get more value from every piece, and buy with intention when you do buy. Truth in visualization, paired with tools to track your closet's full lifecycle. Wardrobe intelligence in service of using less, not buying more.
Where I'm coming from.
I don't have a fashion industry background, and that's part of the point. I'm not building this for runway models or red carpets. I'm building it for the woman who has a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear, who travels for work, who's running between meetings and school pickup, who wants to feel put-together without spending an hour figuring it out or another $80 on something she didn't need.
That said, MyFit Closet works beautifully for stylists too, and I hope it becomes a tool the styling community loves and partners with. Anyone whose job is helping women look and feel their best in clothes they already own is doing the kind of work this app was built to support.
I'm building MyFit Closet alongside everything else in my life. Full-time job, family, the chaos of starting something while you're still showing up everywhere else. That's not a side note. That's part of why I'm building it, because the woman this app is for has a life like mine, and she deserves software that respects her time.
